Biography

Philippe leads growth at Bloks, which is building an Un-CRM for financial advisors in Canada. Each month, he speaks with around 100 financial advisors about their practices, technology tools, and adoption of artificial intelligence (AI). He draws on these conversations to identify industry trends and share practical insights that help advisors improve their practices. Before Bloks, he co-founded MovingWaldo, a Canadian moving and home services platform that has served more than 300,000 users.

Most advisors only ever see one practice from the inside: their own. Philippe Tardif-Michaud sees hundreds.

Every month he speaks on average with a hundred Canadian financial and insurance advisors and their teams about how they run their practice: the CRM they inherited, the tools they added around it, the AI they tried, what stuck and what quietly got dropped. On the Bloks blog he turns those conversations into field notes, so you can borrow what works in other practices without running the experiment yourself. When the honest answer is to keep the setup you have, he says so.

He knows the owner’s side of the desk too. For ten years he built MovingWaldo, a business that grew on trust and partner referrals: mostly bootstrapped, from its first sale to 17 Canadian markets, 300,000 users and two acquisitions. It taught him what every advisor already knows. People don’t buy because you push. They buy because you were clear, useful and right about what they needed.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Université Laval and began his career at PwC and L’Oréal.
