The AI company for Canada’s wealth & insurance advisors.

This month, three things happened at once: Bloks was named one of Canada’s Top 100 AI & Tech Startups at ALL IN 2026, our founder joined Mila — Canada’s leading AI institute — as Founder in Residence, and we became bloks.ai. Here’s what that means for the advisors we serve.

1

What was announced

Bloks, the Un-CRM for wealth and insurance advisors, was named one of Canada’s Top 100 AI & Tech Startups at ALL IN 2026, Canada’s largest AI and tech event. In the same month, founder Marc Gingras joined Mila — the Quebec AI institute founded by Yoshua Bengio — as a Founder in Residence, and Bloks moved to its new home at bloks.ai.

Individually, these are three announcements. Together, they answer one question advisors and firms have every right to ask: is Bloks really an AI company — or just software with AI bolted on?

Bloks was built AI-first from day one. This is the month that became visible from the outside.

Why it matters if you’re an advisor

You’re betting your practice on your tools. When you let software capture your meetings and maintain your records, the question isn’t just “does it work?” — it’s “who built it, and are they at the frontier or following it?” Recognition from Canada’s AI ecosystem is one honest signal.

Your compliance is Canadian. Bloks is SOC 2 Type II certified, PIPEDA-compliant, offers Canadian data residency, and never trains AI models on your data. An AI company that’s Canadian isn’t a slogan here — it’s where your clients’ data lives.

The people building your tools should be learning faster than you need them to. The Mila residency puts Bloks alongside the researchers defining what AI can do next — so what advisors get isn’t last year’s AI wrapped in this year’s marketing.

What Bloks is

Bloks is the AI Operating System for Canadian wealth and insurance advisors — the Un-CRM that automates the admin around client relationships. Meeting notes, CRM updates, compliance documentation, pre-meeting briefs, and follow-ups happen automatically, so advisors spend less time on paperwork and more time with people. Works standalone, or syncs with Salesforce, Wealthbox and Equisoft. The payoff: People, not paperwork — and a full day back, every week.

What advisors say

“1 full day back, every week.” — Matthew Arthur, Certified Financial Planner, Arthur Wealth Management

“1 aligned team, 100% PIPEDA-compliant.” — Mark Brunelle, Certified Financial Planner, Brunelle Financial Planning Group Ltd.

“0 setup, value within hours.” — Luca Talarico, Financial Security Advisor, LT Planning Services Inc.

5

The builders

We’ve spent twenty years building productivity software. Our first company, Tungle, pioneered the calendar scheduling link and was acquired by BlackBerry in 2011. Our second, Foko Retail, served teams at CVS, Whole Foods, and Nike, and was acquired by WorkForce Software, a division of ADP, in 2021. Bloks is the third — and the first built AI-first, for the people who play the long game with their clients.
